This reminds me of that Pirates of the Caribbean film
the one where the rocks were crabs - shit film though.

I saw the first 20 minutes of that movie
4 times, each time on a different plane journey. I kept trying purely out of boredom. And I just couldn't get past that 20 minutes of bullshit at the beginning.

Haha it's more about disliking plane journeys enough
to want to try watching a terrible movie 4 times.

So they didn't have Snakes on a Plane to watch
or the Harry Potter spin-off Snapes on a Plane?

I've not been around much.
I have a bunch of stuff to do, and a sea of laziness and distractions to wade through in order to do it.
Plus it's been a lovely day here, the first after a few days of thunderstorms and bursts of pretty heavy rain, and hopefully I'll get outside soon to take advantage of the pleasant evening.
Maybe the weather's been nice elsewhere? Is it possible some /boarders have actually ventured outside?

Sorry maiden, I think I may have missed some sad news?
Who was James?

Ah sorry thought you knew - he was a my Husband (common-law we was planning on marrying next year)
still consider him to be my husband though. He died in his sleep from ischaemic heart disease basically a lack of blood flow caused by him smoking and having diabetis.

I knew about France
same in US--eating horse would be a no-no
I've heard that in China they might eat anything with a pulse (or that ever had one within six months or so :)

I can't be certain but I think horse meat is banned as not fit to eat

mmmm
I've heard of some religious sanctions against that, but never anything nutritionally unwholesome, etc

It's certainly fit to eat
As it's eaten in many European countries.
I'm also almost certain it's legal in the UK. A blanket ban on horsemeat would probably be difficult to square with EU regulations on free trade.

Die Hard - is that the Bruce Willis film or a necrophile porn flick?

bruce willis, of course
just had a bit of an argument with the bloke in the shop. he said die hard was shit, but then said eight-legged freaks was a much better film. now, while i love them both, i have serious doubts about his taste in films.
