She didnt really belong here due to the very unusual and specific humour and piss-taking of b3ta, but she made a go of it. Someone (unforgivable!) delved into her stuff and found some dodgy (i didnt see them) pics, which i could imagine to be fairly standard for some japanese lolicon doujin artists, and out came the braying mob calling her a paedo cunt and assuming she was a johnathan king in disguise and all sorts.
Because i understand japanese culture more than most on here, i knew that no serious harm or implied dodginess was meant in her pervy doodles. Its quite common in some fan art / hentai circles over there.
We scared her with culture clash, then she scared us with culture clash.
Not that all this is saying i approve of drawings of kids being bummed by pteradactyls.

You didn't see the doodles, I did. It was pretty "non-standard".
Also, if it's so common and so normal in Japan, why were the pictures deleted within minutes of them being discovered? Normal would imply she should not be ashamed of them. Apparently she was.

I said that the B3tans were warming to her and that the joking and jibery was just a sign she had been accepted.....
....and then her artwork was found....
...and she went mental.

I think thats why i was more forgiving and pleasant towards her than most, because i knew that she would be scared off by our strange ways fairly quickly. I kind of wanted her to stay, as she did nice art (not my cup of tea, but nice) and it was good seeing someone from a relatively unusual culture and country on here.
Guess the escalating mentalness and cut finger photo destroyed all that...

I missed most of the kerfuffle, so errh... back to lurking.

then it started to get bizzare and I didn't like to say anything because people just seemed to accept her. Seems men have a thing for japanese schoolgirl mentality and cutey-pop manga art but it left me cold and I just wanted to shake her/him and say "Wake the fuck up this is b3ta - not 4chan or dA!" and I was getting pretty pissed off with the idea that b3ta might slip down that road into manga-art and away from comedy and poking fun at the internet.

"But....but....it might be a cute Japanese girl"
And I thought 'panders' were from China.

Since America took over japan after the war, they imposed censorhip laws on their pr0n, which stuck for some reason. Guess they have to get their kicks in other ways now, like winged dinosaurs bumming bears.
