# Funny you should say that...
I was playing it just before :P

# Meant to say WOO too!
Enjoying it? :D

# Tetris or MW3? XD
I remember having the Game Boy version of Tetris when I was a wee lad. :)

# MW3 silly ;)
DO get BF3 it's awesome, started MW3 straight after
and have to say that the weapons sound very 'weedy'
compared to the stunning audio of BF3s monsters

# every time i start a new multiplayer game on some of the big maps like kharg island or caspian border
and im confronted with the sounds of distant gunfire, explosions and choppers, im always extremely impressed, and like to take it in a bit before i spawn in (and die instantly)

# Hahahahahahahaha
I know what you mean :)

# MW3's brilliant, far exceeds Black Ops and MW2.
I'll be getting BF3 much later, but it does seem like I'd have a lot of fun with it, despite having not played a BF game before.

# You'll love it!
Did it on 'Hard' and spent most of the game on my belly.
Very realistic! :)

# Whereas I just swear at MW3 :P
The single player campaign is brilliant, despite breezing through it.

# hah
im trying to finish it on hard now, and its a reloading (as in dying, then reloading) simulator for me! Never really been that keen on the campaigns for these sort of games, as you die every 10 seconds, as all the enemies are aiming for you from 10 miles away, despite being in a squad of many other troops.

Its the online that draws me in with battlefield. Unlike MW's fairly cramped, lazer quest style maps and rampant doom style deathmatches, battlefield is more open, more free and team based. Its kind of like a less realistic version of that ARMA game i keep being impressed by.

Lots of sniping when prone in the bushes and creeping up behind people and stabbing them. Laying C4 and Claymore traps is so much fun too :-D

# That's one of the selling points of BF3 to me.
Not dying all the time, but the fact it's more realistic than MW3, in that you have jobs to do, you have objectives to complete, whereas MW3 is about getting the most kills (in Team Deathmatch anyway)

# ^This^
The game is very realistic, especially on Hard. The underground mission in the Villa
nearly made my heart stop. Tried it yesterday, sober, and did it!!! :)

Only dabbled in Multiplayer, but you're bang on about it being more tactical
and less run and dash like COD.

I would LOVE Rockstar to do a 'Sandbox' WW2 game! :)

# I honestly cannot make my mind up which one I prefer now.
There are great things in both games. I agree fully with Ninjy about the sound fx though.

# i found battlefield's campaign a bit dissapointing
but then, i found black ops dissapointing. I dont know if ive just got a problem with the scripted-ness of war FPS campaigns, or ive just not found the one for me. Ive heard folks raving about MW3's campaign.

# I've not done the campaign on MW3 yet
To be honest it's not why I buy it, I buy it for the multiplayer because it's damn good fun.

For value for money, CoD games are definately the best purchases I make.
