but it's pay day, so i get to go shopping! been to the docs, got my sicknote(backdated, too. i love the new doctor!) and tabs for my ear, my cold is gone, the cough is almost gone and i should be able to get wool to start my new blanket thias week.
it may be because i've just had chocolate, but i'm finding it hard to be properly sad today :)

My mother in law used to run a care home for Alzheimer's patients. With a decent standard of care and an informed approach to medication (i.e. don't just smack 'em off their eyes from dawn till dusk), patients can enjoy a really good quality of life.

I know Sir Terry's deeply worried about the deterioration of his faculties, and at the end of the day it's his call, but sad as you say, to think that he feels death is preferable :o(
