/talk makes me freeze up generally.
Srly, it's ok on latest Firefox/xp, here.

I block activeX and cookies so that may cause it (but it's only /talk that's affected)

But little by little it seemed like the whole internet was becoming unusable, and telling me that I was using an outdated browser.
Especialy as untill just before Christmas I was using windows 2000 so restricted to IE6.
When I updated to Firefox, even one as old as 3.6.25 it all works fine.
I'm not one of the "I hate micro soft brigade in the slightest" I wish IE did work for me, but changing to Firefox was the best browsing decision I made.

If they're still on /talk from last night then maybe someone could start 15 or so new posts to clear them off (was it Baldie or Morbid Wombat that did them?)

But IE6, which has no updates because I'm on reinstalled computer, begins to load then just freezes and becomes unresposive, and my pointer becomes an egg timer, when I go to close the window it says program not responding and offers the close program now option, when you click yes it offers to send error report....
