To be quite fair, mecha-musume might work with Moggy's style...

like in Sainsburys, deciding "do I get this full price HP Sauce, or do I go with the cheap Sainsburys own brand brown sauce".
For me this isn't a dilemma, that own brand brown sauce is awesome. *1

Of course, Moggy probably won't listen to this, due to an artistic license like a brick wall.

the negative replies she doesn't take on board and the ones which try to steer her in a better direction all fail. I'm mellowing to her but I still hate that she's stuck in stupid childish style of art and makes it worse by mixing in adult themes. She really should move to more grown up art.

unless she turns that considerable talent to drawing better more grown up manga art.

It's that if you can't take constructive criticism, you're doomed to fail. I admit I've been ignorant in the past, and I missed out on producing a fantastic piece of work (which I'd later do a day before hand-in). What Moggy is doing here is, sticking to his/her comfort zone, and it's something he/she needs to break out of, because if I'm to be perfectly honest, I'm completely bored of his/her work. There's NOTHING to it. At all.

I always take on board criticisms and it helps me perfect my techniques and style she does appear to be stuck in her comfort zone it's a shame she doesn't take all the feedback on board.

but when people genuinely want to help him/her get better, it's completey fruitless, as a day or two later, the same shit appears on /board.

Your art style is no good, you must change it. We only want to help you get better. COMMENCE RE-EDUCATION.

but this has been going on for months now, and he/she hasn't taken ANY of our advice.
We're not asking him/her to reinvent their art style, just draw things other than the standard yiffy crap.

Because she can draw and digital paint really well but these cartoon characters she's doing isn't really winning people over. I think if she invested a small amount of time doing something different the whole attitude to her will change.

He left for some reason that I do not know.
I think something bad happened with dave.
He no longer draws cars here.
