# THE CAKE IS A LIE LOLOLOL

# Arf! Meme lols.
Up to level 57 now. I thought it topped out at 50 and had a fab sneak/archer/dual wielding build, and then found out you could go over.

# a mate let me play GTA4
the other week. the last computer game I'd played before that was probably microdot on the commodore 64. needless to say I was bloody gobsmacked. I've got a feeling if I ever got it I'd disappear into it and never come out.

# Nah. GTA4 you'd get fed up with its galactically irritating gameplay.
Vice City, on the other hand...
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 9:50, archived)
# Vice City was my fav.
Closely followed by San Andreas.
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 9:52, archived)
# you are correct!

# GTA4 also lacked a lot of the humour of VC and SA
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:06, archived)
# really?
the radio/ TV stations cracked me up though

I'll have to check the earlier versions out
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:16, archived)
# Hopefully GTA V will sort that out
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:17, archived)
# but the graphics look so crap now I've played the later one
plus I doubt the lap dancers have as nice polygons ;)

# i was addicted to gta4's online play
i used to destroy people in the helicopter, ahhhh, good times.
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 9:58, archived)
# so that was bloody you was it!
Mr NOOBFUCKER I presume?
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:12, archived)
# I had to restart it to get the 15 artefacts trophy

currently at the caves at the beginning before the real quests start and I'm at level 23 already..using a game glitch so I don't get my arsed kicked :)

# Just so I got it right
The point of Skyrim is to wander around aimlessly, stabbing chickens, right?
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 9:47, archived)
# There's a tad more to it than that...
But yes, lots of aimless wandering. Some fairly targeted wandering, and a few more things than chickens to stab.

# Walk around in your pants. Collect thistles.
Wonder at the very short memory of the people. Push witches off cliffs.

# I walked into a Jarl's throne room,
accidently caught the dragon shout button and FUS RO DAH'd at the table. Crockery and silveryware EVERYWHERE. Found it really quite amusing, especially as everyone just sort of stared at me. Didn't even mention that I accidently the entire dinner set!
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:13, archived)
# yeah, there's a lot of that
but it mostly consists of one running around a bunch of caves that look the same killing zombies whilst trying to complete a quest that's very similar to ones you just completed.
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:03, archived)
# GO HERE. KILL BADDY. BRING BACK THING.

# Better than Fallout New Vegas
where the point is to wander round aimlessly, get stuck in an invisible wall, freeze and lose all of your saves.
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 10:12, archived)
# this is a good joke
but the meme quote itself is getting annoying

also i gave up on skyrim at about level 30, i have it on ps3 and heard it gets major laggy as you progress. so fuck that.
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 9:59, archived)
# depends on how old your ps3 is (apparently it only happens on earlier models)
either way the patch is coming out in the next couple of days
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 11:19, archived)
# yup I am at lvl 48 on one save file and it runs to a dead stop after about 2 - 3 hrs playing

switching the ps3 off then restarting fixes it, but that's not really the best fix

# one day, I'll get this game
and if it's anything like morrowind

I'll be stealing things

knives, forks, spoons, food, paper, weapons, lamps, vases, cloth

and selling it at other locations for a small profit

Morrowind brought out my inner cleptomaniac I can't imagine it'll be any different with skyrim

# I recently purchased the Oblivion 5-year-anniversary box for cheap as I never played it the first time round
it's a good substitute while I'm waiting for Skyrim to cross my magical 20£ barrier
(, Fri 3 Feb 2012, 11:30, archived)
# my gear struggles with morrowind
I need more science before I can get any modern games
