I was thinking today at work, we have a group of people from Saudi-Arabia, who we all refer to as the "Saudis". Yet for certain places it's just not done.

Though "Eng" doesn't sound like much of an insult, thought. "Scot" is just the normal description, "Wel" just sounds daft (which is quite fitting, really), and "Ir" or, even worse, "North" are just rubbish.
