what do you make your gifs in mate? I'm havin major problems with photoshop, keeps changing speeds and all sorts

it plays fine in the animation timeline in photoshop, then when i go to the 'save for web' window to optimize the gif it either plays realy fast or really slow. If i export it it usually plays about 2 times to slow in chrome and explorer. i Think it could be something to do with the way im cutting every other frame out in AE. ill let you know if i figure it out cheers
