I contacted the agency and their answer on my question about location was 'probably Hamburg' but they didn't have any further details on location (even approximate) :(

The chap is 75 years old though, and the photo looks like it's at least 10 years old - can't see him remembering when or where he took a photo of a smug man with big gums and a croissant, when he's previously taken photos of Salvador Dali :D
