Maybe Danny Boyle threatened to kill his cat if he didn't turn up amongst all the Rob-clones.
He was the only thing I was wanting to see in this, to be honest, so I think I'm going to turn off whoever this Christina Aguilera clone is and go back to my Red Dwarf marathon.

I'd never heard of him, but reading this I can't see how anyone would expect the ceremony to be anything other than unmitigated shite:

Though I often blame Boyle for a lot of things, pretty much since he stopped making films like Trainspotting and Shallow Grave and started making films like the Beach which takes a story, rips out one of the only good characters, fucks up the other characters, fucks up the dynamics between the characters, and fucks up the ending because the actual ending is nonsensical after all the fucking up.
Apparently he's done some good stuff since but the Beach really offended me, so I'm quick to blame him.
But I shall blame Kim Gavin instead, whoever he is.
