# Classy. Asda used to sell one called Prince Charles and

We ended up mixing it with raspberry juice and Dr Pepper but no matter what you added to it the sour, graveyard undertones would come through on the aftertaste and leave you wondering what damage you were doing to your stomach. And eyesight.

I'm trying to track down a photo of the bottle but no luck. The label was completely plain, with bold Times New Roman, "Scotch Whisky" or "Whisky", I forget which. Nothing else. It was amazing, the Tesco Value brand was a step up.

I'm going to try and find it again next time I'm back in Blighty.

with some of the smoky flavour of the Islay single malts. I've currently got a bottle on the go, plus a bottle of Dalwhinnie and a Speyside.
And I started on a bottle of Mount Gay rum the other night, for those mornings when I want a more tropical sort of hangover. My liver is fucked.

but I can honestly say that I love Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. Perhaps because I have been to the distillery and seen it made and even drunk straight from the cask at 75% alcohol! I've also shared a personal bottle with David Stewart, but mainly perhaps because I used to get it for free. Lots of it. Wish I'd saved some now!
