# hmm, i get what your saying
but some of his and ryan's policies/religious leanings almost make dubya look liberal. i just find it interesting that things like abortion are even on the agenda again (and even in the UK with jeremy hunt at the moment), when to me it's an argument from 20 or 30 years ago... it's almost like people are regressing to an era before the 60s.

# We get a lot of religious fuckwittery here in Aus, too.
The letters pages of newspapers are littered with people who genuinely believe that just because their book of Iron Age fairy tales says homosexuality/welfare/taxes are bad, then it must be.

# Absolute mentals.
Wishing that the world would end so that they could fly up to heaven and leave the rest of us down here to suffer.

# The b3ta FAQ page could be improved with a few quotes from the rapture ready FAQ. For example:
Some couples, in order to avoid abortion, engage in "family planning."
Any birth control other than self-control is abomination in the sight of God and invites the judgment of God.

# Mentalists.
Those guys seem to be a mixture of anger, fear and depression, but sadly there are more militant versions available over there.

# It took me about 20 minutes to figure out that the site isn't a parody.
The phrase "Conservapedia - The Trustworthy Encyclopedia" is comic genius AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN MEAN IT TO BE FUNNY.

# Apparently you're getting a lot of misinformation.
Abortion is not on the table, not even by a long shot. There are many other items of misinformation, but you'll not find any good information of b3ta, nor on bbc for that matter. It's sad, really. To address the question of how it can happen I'll just say $16 trillion in debt properly scares a majority of voters, and many have already noticed Romney is not the cartoon strawman of his media depiction, and they've rejected most all mainstream media.
