I used to like him in the 70's
Was there ever such a thing as harmless racism?
Nowadays, I guess the 'FP' would stand for 'Fucking Prick'..

Oh yes..
I forgot about that prog. Jim used to do a lot of gigs for our armed forces chaps and chapesses over seas too.
I do hope he's proved innocent in this current media witch hunt.
That said, if he's a kiddy fiddler, then I hope justice is served.

yep
will have no sympathy if he's found to be guilty. Can't imagine how the courts manage to find unbiased jurors in cases where the newspapers have already passed their judgement.

Good point..
The media spin condemns people these days just for hitting the headlines.
"Innocent until proven guilty (unless you are caught in a media shit storm)"

"Innocent until proven guilty (unless you are caught in a media shit storm)"
meh.
You get places like this, where the reasoning goes (in the worst tradition of the Fail):
"he's 'right wing', so he's a cunt. So he's guilty. He likes Thatcher (boo hiss), so I hope he gets bum raped in prison."

He is however a cunt, who's 'humour' has always seemed to have been at the decrement of others
which makes him a cunt in my book, regardless of his political opinions

I might be wrong
but hasn't he been arrested over allegations involving two women who were over twenty at the time? This is the problem with the press, they've broadcast this being linked to the Jimmy Saville case and let people make the assumption that he must therefore be a kiddy fiddler. How do they have any hope of a conviction on a 'their word against his' case that goes back twenty years?

Your use of a hyphen in this instance means I can't make the usual joke.
