this room's white but it suits it, we're just about to paint the bedroom bright orange.
Trying to get nice coloured curtains is next to impossible, as well. Unless you want brown curtains. It's the state of the economy that does it, I read an article about this years ago. When times are hard, subdued earthy colours are in fashion. When things pick up, the bright colours come back in.
