Me too
I liked the atmosphere, the feeling through the film of "I know something odd is going on here and can't wait to find out what". I liked the STORY. Remember those? Stories?

I was just typing the plot into a reply when I decided against it
in case anyone hadn't seen it. I didn't want to spoil it. It's a very good story. One of those films you have to pause if you're going to make a cup of tea because there are clues scattered throughout. It's one of those films where I said "OMFG" when the plot was revealed at the end.

I hate the hyperactive midget
but I preferred his film over Abre Los Ojos because Cruise's smug self-satisfaction and fall from his privileged position is what really drives the story - I didn't get quite the same sense of that with an unfamiliar actor.

I like the trailer
Tom running round an empty New York to Mint Royale Saw the whole thing and thought it was pretentious arse. Then find out it was a remake of a french film, thus proving my poiint
