I'm not at all disagreeing that there should be far fewer peopleBut since the deer are an introduced species, and tasty to boot, I don't have a real problem with the proposed cull.

Depends which deer.Roe and Red are native. From a birdwatching perspective humans are self-introduced, so that's fine.

Reds are mostly hybridised with imported Sika deerand the fact that we've managed to kill off all the wolves and bears also means they don't have any natural predators anyway
