Sketch comedy time
Since this is the sort of ridiculous thing I tend to do in my spare time.

That would indeed be true to form
since this particular image I have saved as 'LemurDoc'...

My reputation precedes me again, LOL, so thank you! How you doing dear one? Also have this very old pic since I've just found all this ancient art: it should be fairly obvious who it is *snort!*

Ahh, that's no good :(
Same situation here, it really does sap the desire to do much, so I can really relate to your position *hug* Hope everything resolves in good time for you and your familiy

Yes, it is really tough
I can barely manage my household, now I'm doing hers as well. The hospital have told me she will not be returning home. So as next-of-kin, I have a lot of tricky decisions to make. And there appears to be no instruction manual for this sort of thing. I get lots of advice; ALL of it conflicting.

I went through this exact thing with my great Aunt
I think as long as you are making the decisions that are best for her AND which don't make your life any harder, that's the best you can do. Yes, everyone has an opinion too and many of them are well-meant, but only wind you up tighter. Advice-wise, the same. Are there any other rellies around who can be called on to assist you with the home tasks at her place? Hang in there, Sundae...

No close rellies to help,
but lots of people ready to judge. Although my mind screams "Screw them", it is never that easy. I'm still fighting, and will continue to do so, but I'm getting rather tired.

Keep your chin up matey
And you Shaz. Sometimes life craps on you and you have to remember that people are still hugging you with a big thank you. Even if it seems that you're on your own.

That's the expression of someone that has only just noticed there's no bog roll left!

My expression was worst than that
The night I realized I only had half a bottle of wine instead the one and a half bottles I thought I had when the shop had already closed!

i do not intend to let sobriety impose itself upon me tonight
back in my own little fortress of solitude, after a hot shower and a good meal, booze will definitely be in order. spending almost a week on holiday without getting drunk once is a bit weird.
