# what are you using? Potatoshop, Gimp, Paint Shop Pro?
they all have compression options when you save as jpeg, just a couple of percent off usually knocks it down to under 100k

Using Gimp and realise now I hadn't set any compression at all since I started using it on this laptop. Ta for the heads up, y'all :)
