Alex Salmond; now there's a Twat. You don't hear him prattling on anymore about the 'Celtic Tiger' after Ireland and Iceland went tits up. Give the feckers independence on condition of no bailouts when they screw up

or the 20+% of Scots who are saying "I don't know" to the pollsters.
Get the people who want independence and lock them in a pen on Harris. That'll teach the cunts.
Actually, I'd settle for just Salmond going into a pen on Harris. A litre of water a day and some food twice a week, he could keep going for decades.

but my hope is that the no vote comes along and kills the SNP as a major force for the next 15 or 20 years. Wildly optimistic, I know, but after placing their entire policy onto independence it might be hard for them to reposition themselves. The Lib Dems, if they somehow survive the shitstorm that's about to hit them, could occupy much of the SNP's territory.
Plus, Salmond is too fat to reposition himself.

The SNP got rid of toll bridges, re-introduced free higher education to any one living in Scotland and put a stop to school closures. All a bloody disgrace, given the chance they would kill the bedroom tax, re-engage with Europe, what would they do next ? Bloody Scots, scum of the earth.

but I will call Salmond a proven liar, and his economic plans based on unrealistic extrapolations of revenue from oil and gas, followed by grossly unrealistic estimates of revenue from wind and hydroelectric. Believe me, I come from a family of Scots nationalists; these days I think only one of my uncles would support independence and quite possibly not even him.
I've voted Lib Dem pretty much every election, and I've already said they can move into a lot of the ground the SNP occupy. On politics not linked with the SN part of their name I'm fine with them.
