# You seem to enjoy a very theatrical sort of authenticity
what with this and the ballpoints with blue feathers stuck in them and such. Which is fine, I'm glad your mind is untroubled by the falseness of it all. Real quills would have had the barbs shaved off, though, and would only have been good for writing on actual parchment (less abrasive). If you get anxious, I encourage you to go out and skin a young goat.

You are rude. My quill has a gold nib.

# Oh, OK. That's classier, although it makes equally little sense.

# yeah, cut your own nibs, sandy, you big faker.

# Well the fakeness has a certain appeal, the more I think about it.
I mean no amount of authentic equipment is going to cause actual time travel to 1820, or whatever golden age of poetry Sandy is trying to emulate. Perhaps it's better done lazily.

why the fuck would I put a ballpoint pen in a feather??

# Why the fuck would you scrawl doggrel on a stylishly distressed piece of paper and frame it with a feather?
In fairness, I did ask first, some time back.
