i never noticed a smell. i thought toronto was fab. actually, spadina was a bit filthy, but made up for it in having lots of good places to eat.

Ooh, lovely.
But you obviously weren't in Toronto when the garbage men were on strike for more than a month. Spadina is one of my favourite spots though, good food and one of the best shopping spots nearby.
