i never noticed a smell. i thought toronto was fab. actually, spadina was a bit filthy, but made up for it in having lots of good places to eat. and i suppose now's a good a time as any for a repost:

Ooh, lovely.
But you obviously weren't in Toronto when the garbage men were on strike for more than a month. Spadina is one of my favourite spots though, good food and one of the best shopping spots nearby.
