Beatles the most overrated band ever to have existed and I don't know the words.

Why would I watch it when I've stated how overrated I think they are?
But very kind of you to try to enlighten me nonetheless.

whatever. I shall educate - Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies. It's from their Sgt Pepper Album, which as far as I know has been available to buy since 1967 and has, to date, sold more than 30 million copies world wide...

but I don't listen to it because it's shite.
I may be rather overplaying my hostility to the Beatles for shits and giggles, but you know, as Mr Pip said "Just a band"

guaranteed to anger, 'the beatles were rubbish'
I love 'em, so to find someone who doesn't intrigues me.
I'm, as yet, been unable to find someone who can give me a reason to not love 'em. I'm not saying we should all like the same music, that would be boring. In a way it'd be awesome if someone gave me a reason that made me think 'shit, yeah, they were well rubbish now you put it like that'.
but until then I'm stuck liking what I like... it's a tough world eh?

arguing with a close friend who loves them and couldn't understand my indifference (which is all it really is) so to wind him up I got increasingly militant about my position until we genuinely fell out (for half an hour)

there a lot of 'successful' artists out there that I'm not overly bothered about but accept that they must be good to be selling so well, so yeah that falls into indifference I guess. But some folk do love to wind up t'others. I think the beatles good/bad thing is what they're fighting about over in the desert somewhere.
