Choice of Fire Extinguisher/Class A fire
Is Dry Powder the most effective type of fire extinguisher for a fire of 1000 year old Oak trees and burning lead? Perhaps water, as selected by the Paris Pompiers, was more appropriate? Although it may be that if a propellant was used to start the fire, then it would be a Class F fire and Wet Chemical would be more effective.
