It's when someone needs to say something unimportant and to save the sanity of the magic donkey he/she asks the question in a currently open thread insted of pushing someone work off the bottom of the board.
(, Mon 5 May 2003, 18:00, archived)
# you make it sound good...

(, Mon 5 May 2003, 18:17, archived)
# it's subjective really
i think it's only *really* bad to do that when your jack is the first response, but i can't be sure. i don't post in the daytime any more cos they get so stroppy about it.

about the board, why is the clock about 15 mins fast? Sorry, new to this and don't get it at all!!
(, Mon 5 May 2003, 18:04, archived)
# Because
Cal hasn't fixed it recently.

My best quess would be that it works in much the same way as the clock in the bottom corner of your screen. Have you noticed that when you download lots of stuff your clock slows down? Well I'm guess that when loads of stuff gets posted to the board then the clock fucks up slightly...
