I met Ladan at the Progeria Meet in Florida last year.
I couldn't see her sister. I think she was hiding under the table. Ladan wanted to be a lawyer.
Ladan was disguising the fact by drinking from the punch bowl at table level.

Yeah

how did they do their exams though
surely it would be difficult not to cheat, by looking over the others shoulder, so to speak.

I don't know about exams.
Ladan said that her sister always tried to cop off with her boyfriends.

Heh.
Nicely done. Although I'm afriad you were beaten to it today. How come none of the newspapers had the headline: "World isn't surprised as two women die in very dangerous operation. Millions of people didn't mourn the deaths of two people they didn't know." ?

I dunno
I find it hard to empathise with someone who has someone else stuck to their head... It's just too difficult to imagine what it'd be like... Though if my brother was stuck to my head it'd be a goddam pain in the arse... Especially if his forehead was glued to the back of my head... eugh.

well that's it really
you go "what if that was me" and shudder and you're empathising.

just like the fact that
every hour of every day the same amount of children die from starvation as the number of people who died when the WTC was destroyed.
Let's start a war about that.

aye
reminds me of when Janet Street Porter dissed all the publicity nicecupofteaandasitdown.com has been getting because there are more important things in the world than biscuits (or words to that effect)
There are more important things in the world than everything. No reason why we should stop lamenting one thing in order to focus on another tho. We need to sort it all out, lament everything, cry a lot, then find a superhero to make it all ok again.
WE NEED BUFFY!
