# I liked it for about the first hour
then it god old fast

# god
would get old fast...but then it would depend on which god.....

# ah, I wasn't around
for the first hour.

I turned up for a spot of lurkage yesterday evening and was amazed to behold the board whizzing by on a bandwagon.

After checking the FP I found it was an "official" bandwagon and I almost burst into tears...

# There's some genius pics in it tho
especially mine.

# Just checked:
the going rate for a double-page spread with pics in The Face is £1,800. Hope this'll be equally divided between all those printed.

What? They are paying, right? They're not just using b3ta for free space-filler?
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:04, archived)
# nope. lack of payingness.
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:07, archived)
# Well ...
maybe they could make a sizeable donation to the b3ta server fund. And all those printed could get a free icon, perhaps.

Otherwise, it stinks a bit.

# Oh for gods sake,
its just a bit of fun.
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:12, archived)
# an annoying piece of fun that got old within an hour

# Why is everyone so
bloody miserable all the time.
If you actually did one, and tried to think of something funny for it instead of moaning about it it would make it more fun.
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:17, archived)
# yes
seconded
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:18, archived)
# yeah
what I'm saying is most of these are just puns or silly sign-bandwagon-style jokes

And most of the good jokes were taken within a few hours... and I have no hummus
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:19, archived)
# I'm not miserable!
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:21, archived)
# oh great now I'm going to have to be twice as miserable
EVERYTHING IS POINTLESS MOAN MOAN MOAN
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:23, archived)
# Yeah, okay.
Just confused that, if a user asked, he'd get the "What are we, your photoshop bitches?" reply.

Why's it different when a corporate demands free advertising?
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:18, archived)
# Stop
being miserable, who cares, wouldn't it be nice to see your work in print whether you've been paid or not?
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:22, archived)
# As a journalist,
no.

Edit: ooh, but I do think the entries by Munkton and JustHere are brilliant.
(, Tue 21 Oct 2003, 9:25, archived)
# Fair enough,
but its pretty boring just to moan about it.
Either ignore it or make something for it.
