and about 30 spherical ones for fun science experiemtns, and a few of the average sized relatively strong ones. I can't remember entirely what I've just bought, but a few will affect monitors etc from a few feet away...

He once made a really bloody strong magnet, but it flew out of the magnet making machine and stuck to a metal beam in the ceiling of the lab.
Apparently it's still there, five years later.

These things will lift at least 35 pounds each for the medium ones, the spherical jobbies hold together strong enough to make a bracelet apparently, and i'm not sure of the capabilities of the monster one. hang on a mo, i'll go see if the invoice has arrived, and i'll link to the ones i got.
