for some reason i can't optimize this

so it's like 800k and I'm all bitter about it. Cause it deserves more than being all jerky and huge. . .

It has way too many colors is i think the problem (256). and my optimizer lets me see how much smaller it would be with 32 colors but wont actually let me change it. piece of shit.

it's very woo

maybe your optimisations are fruitless because the image is taller than it is wide, i vaguely remember reading that makes a difference to .gif due to how it works... (could you slice it into 3 and stack the images?)
