(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:12, archived)
# i hope not.

(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# haha!!

# Yep.
But what does he expect?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# what did he do
i missed it
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# This is some of his wit...

# THE MOON ON A STICK!
i'm on my 8th cup of tea today.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:14, archived)
# Shit!
You could float the QE2 on the amount of tea you've drunk!
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:15, archived)
# they're not small cups either.
i estimate around 5 pints today.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:15, archived)
# And are you "holding on"
or have you been yet?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:17, archived)
# nope.
some might say there is a subconscious reason for it, i.e. to flush out my bladder for some chemical reason known to my brain.

i say "i like tea".
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:18, archived)
# I like tea too
milky and sweet....
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:20, archived)
# I like tea too.
And so does George Orwell.
And so does Tony Benn, who actually did work out whether or not he could float the QE2 on all the tea he's ever drunk.

He couldn't though unfortunately.

# thats
no moon
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:15, archived)
# Looks like he has
I think you might be able to pass a message on to him from all of us
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# and, erm
what would that be?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:14, archived)
# Something along the lines of
"off you pop little fella"
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:15, archived)
# thanks
was there a particular reason for the strop? or was it along the lines of 100% Lurker's misbehavior last night towards workboresme?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:17, archived)
# I don't know details
I just looked at the amount of pink on my page and there was muchness
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:18, archived)
# haha
pink everywhere...

well, long after you lot'd gone to bed last night, some newish user (in terms of posts anyway) decided she would have a go, in a very personal & public manner, at workboresme (CA-based). not nice, and i think she may have put WBM off the board.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:20, archived)
# That's not very nice

(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:23, archived)
# no, it wasn't.
people on the board did their best, but it was certainly one of the most hostile displays of unfluffiness i've seen on here.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:24, archived)
# was workboresme on?

(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:29, archived)
# yes, she was
see www.b3ta.com/board/2444538 for the final hurrah.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:42, archived)
# yes, he was here, threw a strop,
said we were ass-munchers or something similarly uninventive, swore revenge and cocked off.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# ha ha ha ha
he used to go to my secondary school
i still talk to him occasionally
he just phoned me for the first time in months - to tell me that he was banned - for no reason!
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:14, archived)
# tell him
he needs to consider his definition of "no reason"
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:16, archived)
# I'm apalled that...
...he finds his behaviour not only noteworthy but newsworthy too.
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:18, archived)
# ass-muncher is a fine insult though
so at least he is using high quality ones
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:16, archived)
# Would he like to
borrow a noose?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:15, archived)
# oh, that's very good. and topical
TJ: does anyone else find the scoring on the "Not All Americans Are Stupid" quiz in the newsletter a bit, well, unlikely? The US scores track the non-US scores until you get to 20. Then they go through the roof...
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:13, archived)
# I didn't notice that
Do you suspect sabotage?
(, Fri 5 Dec 2003, 16:14, archived)
# well, cheating was the word that sprung to mind
it just didn't make sense. if they were going to get 20 of them, you'd think that slightly more would get 19, and so on...not the 'jump' that you see when you go to 'see results'
