I've decided that my current school has completely put me offteaching in the lowest ability schools. Bleh, plus I will be spending most of the weekend reinstalling everything on my computer. Woo.

did youhear about that doctor from oxford? His daughter was really bored in school because she's incredibly intelligent so he sent her to private school but said oxfordshire council should pay the fees because her being intelligent was a disability requiring special facilities...he lost the case and his daughter diserves a good slapping. They interviewed her and i felt a powerful urge to smack the braces out of her face

I generally findthe children who have been mollycoddled and told repeatedly how clever they are are usually nothing special. Dunno if Lethe has found this to be true or not: though from his updates I think just teaching someone who could read would be a bonus to him at the moment
