like cheap fluffy toys have sometimes (you know, those little balls of fluff with a tag saying "I heart Cornwall" or similar). I used to glue them on pebbles and twigs. she couldn't work out why i thought that pebbles and twigs were nicer than -say- cuddly toys.

my parents (quite rightly) made me construct my own, rather than purchase one for a fiver.

i spent too much of my childhood doing this, didn't i? still, at least i never owned a teenage mutant ninja turtle.
