# if you suceed
tell me how i really need to quit, i'm 22 and already sound like an old guy early in the morning

# I love having the gravely voice in the morning
perfect time to grab the guitar and sing a few screaming trees songs and pretend im Mark Lanagan...

anyway, enough of my fantasies, I have quit before for 3 weeks, that was quite easy. Just make sure when at the pub, you dont have enough money for fags and booze.. cos thats the danger place

# How
does an old guy sound early in the morning? is it different from the rest of the day?

Just remember before you quit: 30% of smokers die from smoking related illness, but 100% of non-smokers die from non-smoking related illness ;)

# thats a fantastic
statistic
(, Mon 19 Apr 2004, 10:13, archived)
# FALSE!
An extremely small percentage of non-smokers die from emphezema and cancers related to second hand smoke.

# you have me there.
I shouldn't have said "related" .... the phrase is "100% of smokers die from non-smoking" which is of course, by definition, true :)

Anyway, they shouldn't be buying second hand smoke. cheapskates. ;)
