# people went on it
too much, and now they have exceeded their bandwidth limit

suckers

# Well when 70,000 people get a newsletter
they generally have a look at the links. Thing is they all get it at the same time, so either: a) they server takes a dive because it can't handle the traffic or b) there bandwidth limit is exceeded in about 5 minutes. This time it was the latter.

# It ought to be good for business
though. The more people that know the better, surely.

# Maybe
But were the actually selling anything? If not it is going to whack there wallet quite hard.

# exactly. It's very unfortunate
but a total pisser for them. I don't really see why it's that funny...

# the fact that their site's down isn't funny, i've had it happen to me too and it sucks...
the fact that they thank us in a sarcastic way trying to make us look bad is the funny part.

well, it is to me anyway.

# is there a policy
on asking people if they mind their site going in the newsletter?
or at least warning them in case they have dodgy hosts who'll burn their credit cards?

# They are selling
some bent machines and some unbent ones, I Initially thought that this was the primary purpose of the site-But it's obviously more of a hobby site.
