i have a question?
did kill bill 1 not appear in the oscars because its part of a 2-part film - or just because the academy didn't like it?

Really have to disagree
Reservior Dogs and Pulp Fiction are classic films. Even his least well recieved offering, Jackie Brown, is an excellent, superior crime film. He's a great writer and an excellent director.

Pretty much
But also it's not really an "Oscar" film, if you know what I mean. I could imagine it picking up technical awards and such. It'll be like when Return Of The King won everything for LOTR.
