Far too precise.
"Of ethnic origin". That covers all bases. All the ethnic origin bases are belong to us.

Using the dictionary definition
of 'ethnic' (Of or relating to a sizable group of people sharing a common and distinctive racial, national, religious, linguistic, or cultural heritage.) all human groups are ethnic. So 'of an ethnic minority' may be more accurate. Unless you're talking about London?

Pedance.
I like being pedantic to pedantic people. It's fun. :-D Edit- I just read back and you weren't being pedantic at all. Maybe I'm just too hopeful.

There was a monochrome test card used in the sixties. Even on a new fangled colour TV it came out black and white /Old
