# I want to meet Derek Acorah
I'll claim my name is Hans Schickelgruber and I want to speak to my Great-Grandfather
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:22, archived)
# we saw him "in concert" so to speak
he was dead good :)

pardon the pun
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:27, archived)
# did he speak to anyone interesting?
or just asked "Does...Does anyone here have...a Father?" and wait for some woman to shout "YES I DID HE DIED LAST YEAR!" and then work from that?
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:29, archived)
# well it`s all deceased relatives and friends and all
but he did pick some interesting people in the audience and some really boring people (plus an old bag who couldn`t hear properly!) so it looked less of a fix I suppose!

# I hope not
your wife might be a bit miffed.

Besides, I couldn't marry anyone who likes Maroon 5.

# hahahahaha
get ye to the pub!!
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:28, archived)
# mate - there are two pubs here
1. The Matrix - used to have the proper Matrix writing on the sign, then somebody made them take it down. This pub I`ve been to once, and they had a bloke with a saxomophone and a drum machine backing track. It was dire.

2. The Star - formerly The Fornax and Firkin. I`ve been there with Quelabra a couple of times; most the of the regulars that we`ve seen are chavs; the others are spazzers. One bloke had the most fantastic wheelchair; not only did it go back and forward, but it watermeloning went up and down! Jammy bastard.

.. so no pub ;)
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:31, archived)
# the Matrix sounds great!
(, Sun 26 Dec 2004, 21:32, archived)
# HAHAHA I dare you to spend longer than an hour in there
it was my record, purely because I`d forgotten my key to the house... I even phoned Martian to lessen the impact of the pub

- the poor bastard even turned up!

# if you could take the cyber-cripple into the matrix
it would be perfect

# only if he has a good set of lungs
*fires up the drum machine*
