'ning Pot, how is you today?

# I'm ok ta
I'm over the disappointment at having to sell my house (it went on the market yesterday) but I'm relieved all this shite will come to an end soon.

My mate and I are planning a holiday so that cheers me up :)

How are things at Chez Twig?

# Ning 'Pot, Twig!

# I'm scared
I have been 'offered' a trainee chef's job but it means taking a massive pay cut...I hate having to think about my career, I can't plan much further than chucking out time at the pub

edit: where you going on holiday? sunny Nottingham?
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:21, archived)
# Oh, what a dilemma.
You're the same as me in that respect - Mrs Doc says words like, "life goals", and "medium term planning" and "next week" and it all just goes right over my head!
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:24, archived)
# "next week"
arf! I think I will take it, I will just have to maybe give up having fun for the next three years...
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:29, archived)
# I'm in a similar position...
but am currently just gritting my teeth, and trying to save as much money as possible, so I don't have to cut back on the champagne, caviar and cigars when I finally do snap and walk out of here...

# But just think of all the yummy things you can cook and eat
Oops forgot, you won't be able to afford to buy food.

I'm not helping am I?

# Wendy's advice corner
*cough*

Major decisions are scary and if we all really thought about the pro's and cons we'd be too shite scared to do anything. Go with your instincts. Go to bed tonight with it on your mind and tomorrow morning as you awake, before the reality of life hits you, make that decision.

# South America
My mate and I *need* to go back to Buenos Aires due to unfinished business there (there is a club that we missed out and that is unforgivable). Also we need to buy shoes and BA is the place for that.

We are probably going to head over to Santiago for most of the time but I think we need another place too. I am desperate to go to the Galapagos Islands but my mate hates spending money and I fear that will be expensive.
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:29, archived)
# wow
that sounds like a very good plan, go to the Galapalalpalalapagos Islands on your own if your mate won't go
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:34, archived)
# Ahem!
Mistress Pot . . . I have beed to the Galapagos islands (March/April '99) It was ALL teh lully (except the boatload of Septics . . . Meh!)
I'd be happy to give you some info . . .

(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:39, archived)
# blimeh!!!
I want a full report, with pictures, tips, Jaffa Cakes, the works!

My first concern is... is it boat-able from Santiago and is it really expensive?

I have a feeling that tourism is limited there due to the government not wanting the eco-balance upset.
(, Wed 16 Feb 2005, 11:46, archived)
# Hang on . . .
let's start up there a bit . . . this threads too low . . . poly, it's for a game . . .
