[challenge entry] Not sure if this is the sort of thing you're after
But the following is a half page advert that appeared in The Birmingham Evening Mail last month and was set in a typeface not a million miles away from comic sans:

ATTENTION ALL BIRMINGHAM CITY SUPPORTERS!

Dear Blues fans,

Over a decade ago Birmingham City was on its knees when our company Sport Newspapers stepped in. Today your club is a vibrant and successful Premiership team. And now we're asking for YOUR help. Several of the country's leading supermarkets do not sell our newspapers, The Daily Sport and The Sunday Sport. It's vital to the survival of these newspapers that we are stocked in supermarkets which now command a large slice of newspaper sales. At the moment they are refusing to sell the newspapers that helped Birmingham FC in its hour of need 12 years ago. We believe there is a real demand for these newspapers and we urge all Blues fans to ask their local Asda, Morrisson's or Sainsbury's stock The Daily Sport and The Sunday Sport every time they shop there. Each time you make that request, we want you to email us on [email protected] so we can prove to the supermarkets that there really is a demand.

Yours in football,

David Sullivan, David Gold, Ralph Gold

PS: We bought a struggling team and took it to the Premiership AND we gave England's World cup winning skipper, Bobby Moore, a job as sports editor when NOBODY in football would lend him a helping hand. So now we're asking all football supporters to give us a helping hand. Thank you.

but that doesn't make those tabloids worth anything to the general public. They can fuck off and sort their own marketing strategies out. Without stealing images.

Birmingham City F.C. would be acceptable collateral damage if the company went bust. Fuck Teh Spurt.
