I was going through Basic Training when "Full Metal Jacket" came out.

My brother thought I was going to kill the D.I.

weirdly enough...

The place where they filmed the basic training for Full Metal Jacket is at the Royal Corps of Signals basic training regiment in Bassingbourne..

The assault course is still there but no one is allowed on it as it is not safe..
