So true.
They did an announcement while I was at the train station this morning:
"London Underground have informed me that there are delays on the District Line. Please allow extra time for your journey."
Isn't it a bit late to warn me to allow extra time when I'm already on the platform waiting for my train? What am I suppopsed to do - go back home and leave half an hour earlier?

I think Viz said it best when they published a letter stating that train drivers should get paid loads because they have to keep the trains balanced on the rails. Obviously underground train drivers should get paid more because they have to do it in the dark!
