# Busy?
Jesus! you want to see it on a weekday lunch time...

# Yeah... this is sleepy!
Most of us work, you see... or rather, we're often looking for excuses not to work. And at lunchtime, anyone can justify farting about on here for an hour...
When there's a few good gags running, it gets well crazy.

# Hahahahaha!
For b3ta, this is so quiet that the tumbleweed is rolling :)

# Ok whatever...
..NOW TELL ME WHAT FUCKING CODES YOU USE!!! please
(, Sun 14 Apr 2002, 21:43, archived)

# Personally,
I use Morse code. I find it quite useful, despite being obsolete. It's always fun to play with obsolete things...

# I'm planning to build my own enigma machine...
...for those really critical posts.

# to post images...
find somewhere to host them (if you haven't anywhere else, set up a free account on tripod.co.uk) then use html image tags to post here.
There's a FAQ somewhere here... someone will post the URL...

Glad to see you swearing in only your 11th post. Keep it up.

# B3tan codes
One of the codes we use is called "politeness". It involves not shouting, and asking nicely ;)

We also have a secret handshake.

And a secret milkshake.

# I like the idea of "The b3tan code"
Kinda like the Hemingway Code.

I suspect that the b3tan code remains unwritten (unless it's in javascript or php?) but is intuitively understood by b3tans...

# It would be interesting to analyse the site stats... (rob?)
I have found that it gets quiet during pub-time on Friday and Saturday, but that there's a flurry of drunken activity in the early hours...
(, Sun 14 Apr 2002, 21:46, archived)
# Yeah.
Friday after noon is insane. I usually give up working cos it takes full attention to keep up with it...

# Ditto...
Unless I have a really major deadline, work time declines and b3ta time rises... you need to refresh the board every minute or so just to keep up! And since you're generally trying to knock out an early entry to the new photoshop challenge, it aint easy.

On Friday afternoons, I tend to photoshop (or work if absolutely necessary)on my main PC, and run the b3ta board on a laptop on my desk...
