# Let's make it late fluffy time:

This is a tree near William Creek, South Australia. Had to take a photo obviously….

Just in case you wonder, yes it is dead cats hanging from a tree.

# any reason why they hang their fluff out to dry?
or is it just for fun

# Feral cats.
Since these cats hunt for other animals, people shoot them. No idea why they hang'em on a tree afterwards.

# it's psychological warfare to scare the others away
they do the same with rabbits and pukekos in new zealand

# We get feral cats here (further south that William Creek)
they use to live on mainly rabbits but the CSIRO wiped most of them out a few years ago. So now the cats eat anything, roadkill, lambs, chooks, etc. Last summer we saw one eating a live fox in a trap and another one near Ceduna that had caught and killed a baby camel. They're mean fuckers and can grow huge.

# There is a house across from us
that has 15 cats in it....

I like cats. But not when they shit in your garden and piss over your doorstep...

# Is there any particular reason for this
or do the locals just like stringing cats up to become crispy.

edit: aha

# I guess it's because it's dead boring in William Creek.
2 inhabitants, next town is approx. 250km away. So there isn't much to do - other than hanging dead cats in a tree.
