i'm trying to enter the comp (averagely) but i'm having problems with the old lycos. anyone know if there's summat up with it? the site is here but I can't seem to access it.

you've
got a sattelite (wireless) connection? how much is that then? are you an evil villian posting from your lair of technological doom?

a second... Wireless connections are very very rare, and super expensive, with connection from 10mbps to like, 100mbps. I dont know anything about satellite connections, through your sky box? like cable?

ah,
now that I realise your in the states its pretty clear. the thing is, in the uk, satellite connections havnt taken off as cable companies like telwest have about a 44% saturation into british homes, and so were perfectly placed to offer broadband connections. Sattelite here is also way more expensive than the cable variety. Wireless connections are for networking various internet enabled appliances (blue tooth, 3g mobiles etc) over a LAN, and are rare as hell. Also, it is the only connection to really make use of superior wavelength sattelite connections so far.... i also do childrens parties.
