# bleee!!
top stuff

TJ:I'm trying to think of Christmas presents for my 20 year old brother. What computer games are the cool kids playing nowadays?

# if it's available for computers, you can't go wrong with psychonauts
or if he's the overly self-respecting type just get him half-life or doom 3.

# Psychonauts has a cool name - I will look out for it
As far as I can tell he's not the hugely manly type - he's a big fan of the sims. I thought of WoW cos he used to love the Final Fantasy games, but I don't want to lumber him with a subscription service

# WoW is geh.
If you want a quality MMO with no subscription then go with Guild Wars.

If it doesn't have to be a MMO, then maybe Black and White 2 or GTA: Liberty City Stories

# Cheers for the suggestions
GTA's a good idea - he seems to like that sort of thing

Ta!

# psychonauts is a platformer, it's cartoonish but also funny as all hell
i only played the PS2 version and i know it's available for xbox

i have no idea if it's available for computers, but if it is, i definetely recommend it

# tetris has become the sport of choice among my floor at uni
they won't stop fucking playing it, the nostalgic wankers, it's great

# Tetris WAS ace, it's true
I once went to Bilbao on the ferry, they had a whole room of gameboys linked together, all playing tetris, so you could play massive multiplayer games.

All the modern computer games I've tried I find a bit rubbish though, to be honest
