# what about

two daleks exterminating each other, and as they do, you see the skeleton of a couple of people sitting inside them on space hoppers in x-ray? or tricylcles?

# it'd

(, Sat 21 Jan 2006, 0:31, archived)
# ok
you know, just like life.

As I mentioned earlier, good things have been happening, got offers at all of the unis I applied to, so that's nice.

# hooray,
i'm sure you'll ace them all.
have you listened to the new iron & wine stuff?
(, Sat 21 Jan 2006, 0:34, archived)
# no not yet
I've been rather apathetic about music lately, mostly been listening to the stuff I have to learn for this choir festival I'm performing in in March in Brussels, fucking hard music :S

# hard music?
Marcel woods?
(, Sat 21 Jan 2006, 0:36, archived)
# more like
Mozart - Laudate Pueri
this fucking horribly hard french song
Rytmus (Slovakian)
Consecrate This Place And Day - some bouncy fucking song
Ave Maria - a "modern" version of an old theme, fucked up meter.
I Can Tell The World - Pretty easy actually, but *very* high
The Lighthearted Lovers - lots of weird Falalalas that have strange and very high jumps
Broskvicka - Czeck, who the fuck knows what's going on there
La Muralla - Spanish, same
Some Russian song I can't pronounce

and to top it off I'm a first soprano, so I have to sing ALL of the highest possible notes. Very hard.

my choir teacher, who has been participating in this program (which has the best singers my age group worldwide) for over a decade, says its the hardest they've ever had us do.
