# what's going on that I should know about?
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 2:56, archived)
# good lord!
have you been tasting the Glade Plug-Ins again, mister? ;)

Nice newsletterage this week, even if it was a stressy last-minute one. Killed off the end of the working week a treat. :)

# Dave was away
I hate writing it by myself. I can't spell and it's boring having no-one to bounce off.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 2:59, archived)
# Well, like I said, it worked out just grand - a fine job!
I can imagine it's more fun with monkey beer and company, however. Selfish dave!

# yeah - what a cunt
having a romantic week away with his missus
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:01, archived)
# He's worse than Hitler.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:01, archived)
# actually - what I did like about the newsletter this week
the ads were good.

There was a "get a new media job" thing - and if you clicked through they were offering really good jobs at google and yahoo, AND they linked to some kittens.

It's nice when advertiser actually know the audience they are trying to connect with.

# I must admit it was a refreshing change
to realise employers out there actully have vacancies for illustrators of giant magenta penii
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:10, archived)
# yeah, targeted advertising

so long talked about,
yet barely realized.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:10, archived)
# too fucking right
I've found doing the ads on the newsletter fascinating.

It's kinda grown-up tho.

# Those fellas
trying to flog those Japanese things are quite persistant. are they good payers?
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:18, archived)
# they did a block booking
it's over now.

maybe they'll buy again? I dunno.

The best bit actually is that the chap's mum runs the cash side of the busines and his mum paid me the money.

AND HIS SITE SELLS FUCKING PORN.

# bless
i wonder if they starred in any of the pics?

are you doing any more one-man-shows?

oh and cheers for picking my image challenge idea this week!
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:23, archived)
# I want to do another talkie thingie
just had other stuff on my mind.

And I didn't pick your challenge - the votes did. Not to say I didn't like it - I do. But your thanks should be to the voters.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:26, archived)
# I'm actually surprised you've been so dilligent (so far).
not trying to kiss ass (ok, fp me now!)
but I've had weekly deadlines, and they
can get really old, really fast.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 4:02, archived)
# I like deadlines
they make me sweat and work.

No deadlines - I'd do fuck all.

But hey - I'm happy writing - it's just the looking at 100s of crappy links that's the bore.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 4:13, archived)
# not much
are you early or very late?
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 2:58, archived)

I have discovered that mashed potato, tuna, sweetcorn, scrambled egg, peppers and onions, make a tasty treat when eaten straight out of the mixing bowl, but do not a substitue for ciggies make.

# haven't you got some fag ends?
you can roll them up for butt-rollie
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:07, archived)
# I have been doing that all night.
My last ciggie contained tobacco that had been smoked at least 7 times before. You could fill pot holes with it.

# I've got a bookcase that's not struggling for survival

and a cat who survived falling off a

(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:07, archived)
# just broke his jaw.

but now all kittens are banned from the
balcony (although I'm pretty sure the
females would not be so stupid).
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:16, archived)
# kitten with a broken jaw? awwww

christ - his mouth is a mess. Poor little shit.
(, Sat 28 Jan 2006, 3:34, archived)
# yeah, we were happy he got off so easily.

a friend of mine had an older cat who
fell from about the same distance and
died a rather painful death. Christ,
I'd hate to go through that.
