# Nah,
I live in West London... I'm a Glasgow Rangers fan though.

RANDOM FACT ALERT:
I did get glassed in a pub in Isleworth once because England went out to Portugal in Euro 2004 and I obviously didn't look unhappy enough for the guy.

# Frankly I'll overlook the nauseating patriotism because I'd love to see Beckham crushed by heavy duty machinery
(, Fri 23 Jun 2006, 1:33, archived)
# What nauseating patriotism
I'm a Scot, I just happened to do this cos I thought people in England seem to see him as some sort of destroyer of teams. Tis a social commentary y'see.

I love semantics. Anything can be justified.
(, Fri 23 Jun 2006, 1:38, archived)
# I'll give you the Scot thing but how is that a social commentary?
And hasn't Beckahm been off form?

Also, I take issue with the 'anything can be justified' idea. Basically it's a way of being wrong without anybody being able to prove otherwise.
(, Fri 23 Jun 2006, 1:44, archived)
# Erm...
I dunno, I just thought it was funny really, I couldn't care less about Beckham, I haven't been watching England so wouldn't know if he's on form or not :S

Semantics annoys me to no end when having to study it, however, when I can use it for my own evil gains then I'm all for it. Basically I was doing a Freud, making wild outlandish claims without being able to be proved wrong. Only Freud succeeded and I failed.
(, Fri 23 Jun 2006, 1:48, archived)
# I'd forgotten about the heavy machinery
That makes me more proud of this.
