but I would love some help.

My friend is having trouble with his task manager. When he presses ctrl/alt/del he gets this:

Any ideas on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not really sure why. it's not usually a problem though, just press Esc to close it.

He runs a dual core system, and needs to access something in task manager to uncheck it on the other core.
