oh man
i would love to see beck
he was supposed to play at this festival about ten minutes from my house on this farm with radiohead and the beastie boys and a bunch of other great people but the town wouldn't allow it.
this weekend i was just at this festival called gathering of the vibes, man it was awesome. bob weir and bill kreutzman and mickey hart and donna jean godchaux from the grateful dead were there, and mike gordon from phish and steve kimock and keller williams (who puts on a damn good show, though i don't listen to too much of his music) and this awesome band called assembly of dust, who i never thought were that great but they played an awesome set.
it's more of a "hippie" scene type thing, so i don't know if you are too much into it, but man was it awesome.

I couldn't get that close, I had my littlest son with me and I had to hover about at the back to protect his ears.
